A Burkinabe actor, born in Ghana in 1986 to a Ghanaian mother and Burkinabe father. He was raised in Ivory Coast and then was sent to his father’s family in Zabré, Burkina Faso. He started looking for a job at the age of 13 and later made it to Europe, settling in Italy. Thanks to his knowledge of several African languages, he was hired as an interpreter by a migrant association. He resided in the countryside near Calabria and became active in the movement of defending the immigrant workers in the Rosarno riots of January 2010. Director Jonas Carpignano nominated him for the leading role in A Chjàna (2011) and Mediterranea (2015), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
