A Palestinian actor, born in the city of Nazareth on August 20, 1944. He studied at the Teachers College in Jaffa and worked in the field of education for many years, then he moved on to work in the field of journalism and translation after early retirement, but his love for art and theater never stopped. He participated in many works, including plays and films, starting in the seventies. His last work before his death was his role in Eli Rezik's short film Ten Bell Tolls. Among his most prominent movie roles is the role of Neighbor in Elia Suleiman's The Time That Remains, which earned him worldwide fame. He was known for his support of young Palestinian directors, as he participated in their first films for free to push them forward in the art world. He died on February 24, 2022, in Nazareth at the age of 78.
