An American producer and businessman, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, the son of a taxi driver. He attended Temple University, took a job in the clothing industry in the writing and review department, worked as a writer, and then as a traveling salesman for a women's clothing manufacturing company. By 1959, he joined a clothing design and manufacturing company and soon began producing his clothing line called Jones New York, then the company grew to expand into producing clothing, shoes, and accessories, and in the eighties, he discovered his ambitions to work in film production.
