An American actor, born in Queens, New York, USA. He studied at Long Island University, then C.W. Post College in Long Island, New York, where he obtained a BA in English Literature. He soon began studying under acting coaches Elia Kazan and Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio in New York. Among his artistic works are the films Vice Squad (1982), In the Spirit (1990), and The Bone Collector (1999).
