A German actress, born in Freiburg, Germany, to a doctor of Romanian origins who worked as a professor in dermatology. After completing her high school studies, and during her university studies in theatrical arts in Vienna, Austria, she appeared in the movie Aimée & Jaguar in 1999. She won the Shooting Stars Award, which is given to young European actors annually.
