Icelandic writer and director born in Paris on 12 December 1973. He graduated from the National Film School in Denmark in 1999, and his project was the short film called Lost Weekend, which won him a number of awards in international film festivals. His first feature film was Noi the Abino (2003), followed by Dark Horse (2005) and Virgin Mountain (2015), which was nominated for Best Film at Cairo International Film Festival.
