• A French filmmaker, writer, and environmental activist, born in Paris, France. He loves documenting and photographing from above and has directed films about the impact of humans...Read more on the planet. He is particularly known for his book Earth from Above. In 1963, when he was seventeen, he became an assistant director, then an actor in films, appearing alongside famous actors such as Michel Morgan in Dis-moi qui tuer (1965), directed by Etienne Perier. He returned to France in 1981 after living in Kenya and published a book, Lions, in 1983. He became an international journalist, correspondent, and photographer specializing in documentaries about sports, wildlife, and aerial photography for French magazines. His works include directing Planet Ocean (2012), Human (2015,) and Woman (2019).
