A Japanese singer and voice actress, born in Tokyo, Japan. She participated in many films, such as Spirited Away (2001) and Isle of Dogs (2018). She received the Arts Encouragement Award for the year 1984, which the Ministry of Education grants to new artists. She was also nominated for the Award of the Japanese Academy for Best Supporting Actress.
