An American composer, who is best known for his rendition of Judy Garland's Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which was in the 1944 film Meet Me in St. Louis. The song was later covered by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Christina Aguilera, and Coldplay.
