A Scottish actress and model, born in Glasgow and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is the daughter of the playwright James Mavor. She studied at The Mary Erskine School in Edinburgh. She also joined the National Youth Theater, and her first experience in school theater performances was in the play The Tempest by William Shakespeare. She also became famous through the TV series Skins.
