Garth Jennings is an English director, actor, and writer, born in Essex in 1972. He founded the Hammer and Tongs company for the purpose of producing short videos and films. He is best known for his films, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Son of Rambow (2007), and Sing (2016).
