A British actor, born in Atherstone, England. He studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, before joining the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. He has worked in film and television since the early 1970s. He directed plays in theaters in the West End of London, and the famous Broadway theaters in New York, USA. He also worked with the Royal National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
