American actress born in Helena, Montana, US on 4 April 1892. She made her acting debut on stage in New York in 1917 and was an actress on Broadway until 1931 when she moved to Hollywood. Her works include Champion (1949), Murder, My Sweet (1944), Detour (1945), and Sullivan's Travels (1941). She married twice and had no children. She died of a heart attack on 8 March 1965 in Hollywood, California, US.
