American actor born Vincent Markowski in Port Henry, New York, US on 9 August 1903. His most notable works include Stagecoach (1939), She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (1949), Adventures of Captain Marvel (1941), and The Talk of the Town (1942). He married actress Jeanne Martel in 1937. He died of a heart attack on 3 May 1954 in Michigan, US.
