An American director, born in Palo Alto, California, USA. He attended Sequoia High School in California, then began his acting career and worked as a choreographer. He has directed many artistic works, such as the movies Newsies (1992) and Hocus Pocus (1993). He has directed many concerts and musical performances, and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
