An Indian actress, born in Mumbai, India, to a father who worked as an engineer. She moved to the city of Palai, and obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in English literature. She then began her artistic career with secondary roles. Her works include the movies Vetrivel, Oru Naal Koothu, Indru Netru Naalai, and Amara Kaaviyam.
