An actor and expert in Chinese martial arts, he holds the tenth degree in Hung Gar Kung Fu. He took over the management of the Kung Fu school founded by his father, Chiu Kau, after his retirement. In 1971, he opened his own school in Hong Kong. After returning to China in 1995, he closed the school and moved to the United States. Among his artistic works are Enter the Game of Death (1978), Enter the Fat Dragon (1978), and Kung Fu Hustle (2004).
