A Lebanese writer and director, born in Lebanon. Jihane later moved with her family to Mexico, where she was raised. She studied philosophy and theater in France and directed three short films, including Sous mon lit (2005), which won the Critics Award for Best Short from the French Syndicate of Cinema Critics and was screened at the International Critics' Week ​at the Cannes Film Festival.
