A French film director, writer, and producer, born in Morocco. His works include The Disintegration (2011), Dans la vie (2007), and Samia (2000), which won the Amiens International Film Festival Award. He has diverse cinematic experiences about minorities and the issue of integration, and names films after its lead actors and actresses, such as Fatima (2015) and Amin (2018).
