A Dutch director and screenwriter of Egyptian origin, whose father is Sabri El-Hamus. Shady is a graduate of the Netherlands Film Academy. He also graduated from the MA Directing Fiction Course at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK. Among his works is Fairuz (2014).
