An Emirati film director born in 1988. She was raised in Abu Dhabi. She obtained a BA in Hebrew and Politics, School of Oriental and African Studies in London. She did an intensive course in filmmaking in New York and enrolled in a training course at twofour54. In 2015, she won the Arab Film Studio Award for her documentary Omnia that deals with the topic of girls’ circumcision in the Middle East.
