Hassan El Shazly was an Egyptian footballer in Tersana SC. He was born in Giza Governorate on November 13, 1943 as Hassan Ahmed El-Shazly. He was a midfielder in Tersana SC from 1959 to 1978, and played 325 games, winning the only Egyptian Premier League that the club won in the 1962-1963 season. Hassan El Shazly is considered the historical scorer of the Egyptian football, as he scored 176 goals, and in one season, he scored 34 goals. He played for the national team from 1961 to 1974 and played 52 international matches, scoring 39 goals. He is Egypt's top scorer in the African Nations Cup. Years later, he coached Tersana SC and Al-Ittihad Sports Club of Aleppo. He also worked as an analyst for the Egyptian League matches on Nile Sports TV channel. Also, he appeared in the movie City's Talk (1964). Hassan El Shazly passed away on April 20, 2015.
