Amr Abdel Latif was born in Kom El-Dikka, Alexandria. He's a graduate of an industrial technical institute, after which he worked for the Alexandria Water Company. He worked in journalism and obtained a script course and a directing course at the Arab Film School. From his works the short film Private Sector (2014).
