American author, actress, and director. She studied creative writing and theater at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She also studied public policy and administration at Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University, and received her MBA in 2009. She began working in independent film. She also worked at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and participated in many plays and artistic works.
