A Dutch music arranger, pianist, and composer, born in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. He studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and also joined the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, Belgium, before traveling to the United States. He was an assistant conductor of the Metropolitan Opera in the USA. His credits include Stagecoach (1939) and This Woman Is Mine (1941). He died on March 6, 1966, in Beverly Hills, California, USA.
