An American actor and casting director, born in San Francisco, USA. He appeared in nearly one hundred and twenty films. His artistic career spanned more than twenty-seven years, and among his works are Pay Day (1922), The Gold Rush (1925), City Lights (1931), and In Old Mexico (1938).
