Helen Twelvetrees, an American actress, was born in Brooklyn, New York, USA on December 25, 1908. She married three times and had only one child. She is best known for her roles in Painted Desert (1931), Young Bride (1932), Panama Flo (1932), and Now I'll Tell (1934). Helen Twelvetrees received her high school education in Brooklyn and then joined the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and studied music, drawing and drama, and she participated in a large number of plays in New York City. She moved to Hollywood with the beginning of the talkies and contracted with the Fox Film Corporation, and her first work was The Chost Talks (1929). Helen, the short blonde, often performed evil roles. She died on February 13, 1958, from an overdose of sedatives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
