He began competing in bodybuilding when he was 20, participating in numerous bodybuilding competitions from 2002 to 2008 and winning the 2002 Oslo Grand Prix. An injury halted his bodybuilding career, and he moved to Oslo, the capital of Norway, in 2007, where he began his modeling and acting career. From 2009, he focused on appearing in commercials. In 2010, he began focusing on acting, writing scripts, and producing films. In 2011, he moved to London to become one of Europe's action stars. He has appeared in works such as Lilyhammer (2012), Bridget Jones's Baby (2016), and Run Faster (2017). He also wrote, produced, and starred in Last Man Down (2021).
