American actor born in Brooklyn, New York on 11 March 1927. Some of his notable works include: The Brothers Karamazov (1958), Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), Caddyshack (1980), and Dragonslayer (1981). He passed away with his wife on 22 April 1990 in their home under suspicious circumstances, and it's still unsure whether it was a suicide or homicide.
