A British director, born in Glasgow, Scotland. He studied at South Gate High School in Barnet, England. He worked as an assistant producer and then as a director of several sitcoms, such as Fawlty Towers and Absolutely Fabulous (1992). He also participated in many artistic works on the cinema screen, before he died in Devon, England.
