A British actress of Jordanian origins, she was born in London, England. She is the daughter of the British-Jordanian actor Nadim Sawalha and his actress wife, Roberta Sawalha. Her sister is the actress and producer Nadia Sawalha. Her family appeared in various productions. She is known for Press Gang (1989-1993).
