British actress, born in Lincolnshire, England. She studied dancing at an early age. Her parents formed a singing group called The Daltons before joining them when she was seven years old. She performed in a variety of roles on stage, including Little Red Riding Hood and The Go-Between. She is known for Mrs Biggs (2012) and Doctor Who: Short Trips (2016-2017). She has previously won the British Academy Television Award in the Best Actress category and the Laurence Olivier Award in the Best Supporting Actress category.
