A French playwright, born in Brussels, Belgium, as Franz Wiener. He wrote several journalistic and poetic works, but he gradually devoted himself to working in drama and writing plays. Among his most important works are Les vignes du seigneur (1962), Il était une fois (1933), and L'épervier (1925). He also wrote several novels, such as "La dame de Malacca." He died on November 8, 1937, in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France.
