Australian actress, born in York, Australia. She was the sister of actress Marjorie Bennett and actress Catherine Bennett. She started her acting career on the Sydney stage, where she rose to fame as a theatrical performer, before moving to New York. She appeared in several silent films, and starred in several films. Her most important works include The Red Lily (1924), The Sea Hawk (1924), Your Friend and Mine (1923), and Robin Hood (1922). Her last participation was in The Big Store (1941). She died on May 14, 1969, in Malibu, California.
