A Scottish actor, writer, and producer, born in Paisley. He has six siblings. His family immigrated to Canada when he was two years old, then he returned to Scotland in his early teenage years, but he went back to Canada years later. He obtained a university degree in teaching and played different sports, then he began his artistic career in acting, and his notable works include Star Trek (2009) and Heartbeats (2017).
