An American actress, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA as Arlene Carol Dahl. She received a star on the Walk of Fame in 1960. She married 6 times and had 3 children, including actor Lorenzo Lamas. She was one of the most beautiful screen actresses during the post-war period. After graduating from Washburn High School, she joined a local drama group, and worked as a model for some department stores. She signed with Warner Bros, where she presented some small roles that led her to a contract with MGM to present many romantic roles, the first of which was the movie The Bride Goes Wild (1948). Among her credits are Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959), Reign of Terror (1949) and Scene of the Crime (!949). She died on November 29, 2021, aged 96.
