Egyptian director who studied directing at the Cairo Higher Institute of Cinema in 1986. He made many documentaries that won a number of awards, including "The Catcher" and "Afrah." He won the award for the best documentary film for "The Catcher" at the first Arab Film Festival in 1985, and he also won the award for the best documentary film in 1986 for the movie "Upper Egypt's Train" at the same festival. He is known for being the second assistant director for Houseboat No. 70 (1982) and The Savage (1979).
