French actor, born in Paris, France. He studied acting at the Paris Conservatory. During World War II, he served in the Free French Forces and was later awarded the Legion of Honor. His works include Ladies Lake (1934), Ultimo incontro (1951), The Proprietor (1996), and A Star for Two (1991). He died on January 30, 2001, in France due to a heart attack.
