An American writer, editor, and director, born in Los Angeles, United States. In 1913, he started working in the film industry by joining Mack Sennett at Keystone. Later, he collaborated with Samuel Goldwyn at United Artists. He directed the film Storm Warning (1950), starring Ginger Rogers.
