A Portuguese footballer born in Funchal, Portugal. He plays as a left-wing and forward for the English football club Manchester United, and captains the Portuguese national football team. He is top scorer for the Portuguese national football team as well as his previous club, Real Madrid F.C. He won Champions League top scorer 5 times. He also played for Juventus F.C. He appeared as himself in a documentary about his life titled Ronaldo (2015).
