An American actress, she was born in Los Angeles, in the United States. She is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science in New York. She began her artistic career through Star Wars: Ewoks (1986). She participated in many works such as Boyz n the Hood (1991), Encino Man (1992), and Dreamgirls (2006).
