An American writer and producer, born in Brooklyn, New York, United States. After attending James Madison High School, he went on to New York University to finish his journalism degree. While attending the university to study journalism, he started penning a column for the New York Evening Newspaper. He presented many works, such as Twenty Million Sweethearts (1934), The Roaring Twenties (1939), and The Drive by Night (1940).
