A Scottish director, writer, and painter, born in Glasgow, Scotland. He attended The Glasgow School of Art, where he studied mural painting, and later became an art teacher and cartoonist. He also studied at the National Film and Television School and presented the short film Passing Glory. He also directed Small Faces, Trojan Eddie, and Pure.
