A Russian screenwriter, director and actress, who grew up in both Estonia and Russia. She studied acting at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts . She began her career with the 1989 film Pokhishcheniye charodeya. Her notable credits include Ekaterina (2014) and The Student (2016).
