An Egyptian writer, born in Cairo. He wrote many radio serials, and presented a radio program in which he responded to the problems of listeners and commented on the creativity of writers. He also translated some books from English to Arabic. Among his notable works are the radio serials The Hamlet's Doctor, The Visit, and The Well-Prepared. He died on February 25, 1987.
