A Canadian actress, born in Sainte-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, to a Haitian mother and a French-Canadian father. She began training in dance at the age of seven, then worked as a model for several magazines and print advertisements. She began her acting career in the 1990s after graduating from Jean de Brébeuf College with a degree in media. Her artistic works include the films X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Never Let Go (2024), and the series Shōgun (2024).
