A British actress, born in London, England, to a British mother and a Nigerian father. She grew up in Southwark, London. She began taking dance lessons at the age of three at the Cooper School of Dance and obtained a BA from the Central School of Speech and Drama. She launched her career in 1997. She is known for Vera (2012-2016), City of Tiny Lights (2016), and The Postcard Killings (2020).
