A British actor and opera singer, born in Hastings, United Kingdom, and he spent his early years in Canada. He studied at Radley College in Oxfordshire, England. He held dual Canadian and British citizenship. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. Following the war, he studied opera at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England. He is known for Portrait of Alison (1955) and Thunderbird 6 (1968). He died in London, England.
