A German musician born in Munich, Germany. He is the son of Turkish immigrants. He studied from 1982 to 1986 at the University of Music and Theatre Munich, and at the Film and Television Academy in 1987. Parallel to his studies, he began working early with several different bands and projects as a pianist, keyboardist, and composer. He also worked as a radio presenter, transcriber, editor, and music teacher. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, he worked extensively in various theaters as a composer, musician, and musical director. In addition to his music for the theater, his works have been realized in numerous performances and concerts, and as soundtracks for several films and television productions.
