American screenwriter, composer, and director, born in Brookfield, United States.Between 1926 and 1961, he wrote and directed over a hundred motion pictures and television shows. He attended the University of California in the United States and began working as a writer in San Francisco in 1920. After working as a director and then writer, he became a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers in 1960.
